On June 26-28, 2026 Marketing Manager, Michael Stieber of Law Tigers Florida Panhandle attended and participated in the 2nd Annual Missing Parts Ride put on by Emerald Coast Harley Davidson in Fort Walton Beach, FL in partnership with Motorcycle Riding Events of America. Law Tigers is extremely proud to have sponsored and supported this and is looking forward to many more years of this amazing event.
The goal and mission of the Missing Parts Ride is to get amputees back on two or three wheels. Last year, in the inaugural year, over 800 people attended from across the country and many of them were amputees. I met an amputee from Maryland who had just received his prosthetic leg 6 weeks prior to the event and it was only his 3rd time back on a bike, but to come to the event he had rode his motorcycle 1,028 miles in less than 24 hours, documented for an Iron Butt saddle sore ride. This year, that amputee (Full Pull) was back again, this time bringing a few amputees with him to attend this year.
Another amazing story was meeting a gentleman in a wheelchair. When talking with him, I found out he had been in a motorcycle accident and lost his left leg, got fitted for a prosthetic, and got back to riding only to get in another accident, this time losing his right leg! When I met him last year he was in his wheel chair since he had not got fitted for his new prosthetic leg…..well guess what, he was back this year with his new leg and rode over from Georgia to attend the event!
The camaraderie was absolutely extraordinary and to be able to meet people from across the country who have overcome their struggles to get back to their passion for riding motorcycles was a true gift I'll never forget. In the inaugural year, over $75,000 was raised and this year over $80,000 was raised with 100% of the money going to get amputees back on 2 or 3 wheels.
If you want to attend something truly special and take part in an extraordinary event, be on the lookout for the 3rd Annual Missing Parts Ride coming Summer 2027!
