Mr. Roden is a Partner with Shelby Roden LLC. He has over 43 years’ experience in cases involving automobile accidents, products liability, class actions and mass torts including dietary supplement litigation and chemical exposure. With the firm since 1999, he focuses on automobile products litigation, insurance fraud and motor vehicle accidents.
Mr. Roden was instrumental in establishing the Alabama Civil Justice Foundation in 1992, which serves as a source of funds available to charitable organizations. He worked through the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association to create the Foundation as an opportunity for the legal community to assist Alabama families, children and citizens in need. The grants awarded by the foundation are funded from Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA), a procedure approved by the Alabama Supreme Court.
Mr. Roden is a graduate of the Cumberland School of Law and a member of the Alabama State Bar. He is also a member of the Birmingham and American Bar Associations and the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, previously serving on the Executive Committee.
